EBFCU test rig is designed to check all functions of Emergency aero Engine backup fuel control unit.

The design is built around Xilinx, Zynq 7020 processor on a customized carrier board where required peripherals/signal conditioner circuits are implemented. The unit has 512 MB DDR3 RAM and 256 MB QSPI flash where the application program reside. The unit performance can be checked over RS422 interface on a PC. All components used will be Industrial Grade (extended temperature range of -40 °C to +85 °C). The EBFCU is a self-cooling system.
