Automatic Test Equipment for Open Architecture Computer (OAC): The OAC Automated Test Equipment is required to simulate all interfaces to OAC to enable functional and performance verification of the OAC at the LRU level.

The state of art power PC based single board computers are used for mission and display processing functionalities.
The ATE is meant for verifying the hardware interfaces of display surfaces, discrete inputs/outputs, video inputs/outputs, serial I/O’s and 1553B.
The ATE facilitates the manufacturing line to test the full functionality of Open architecture computer including redundancy management. The ATE further facilitates the module level debugging to identify the faulty modules in the system.
